The ODHA/ODMHA Officials International Exchange was started in 2001-2002. Two officials visited Ottawa from Helsinki, Finland, and two Ottawa officials travelled to Finland later that season. In its second year, the program grew, involving two other host cities, Budapest and St. Johns. The Exchange program is now one of the hihglights of the ODMHA Officiating Program.

The exchange is paid for in principle by the ODHA/ODMHA, although the costs of any additional 'side trips', as well as personal expenses are incurred by the official. Ottawa officials are also responsible for keeping their guests fed and comfortable while in the capital, and also for arranging their transportation.

Current exchange locations include Newfoundland, and a possible CIS exchange.  More information will be posted on odharefs.com as it becomes available.
